We are pleased to announce the launch of a new E-Twinning project titled PLAIGROUND. This initiative is a collaborative effort between Eskisehir Osmangazi University, Duzce University, and University of Zagreb. The project is led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Banu Cicek Basaran-Uysal (ESOGU, Faculty of Education, Department of Foreign Languages) and Asst. Prof. Dr. Osman Dülger (Duzce University, Faculty of Education, Department of Foreign Languages), in collaboration with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ivana Milković (University of Zagreb, Faculty of Teacher Education, Department of English Language Teacher Education) and the participants are future EFL teachers from the three universities. As we move forward, this project aims to provide actionable insights into using gen(AI) tools for language teaching in different levels. The study explores the critical intersections among gamification, language teaching, and (gen)AI, specifically focusing on how future teachers can develop themselves as task designers.
